If you have unwanted grade items in your gradebook on eClass, you can remove them to have a more clean gradebook. Depending on the type of grade items you may need to remove the activity or just the grade item in the gradebook.

Removing Grade Item for an External Activity

1. Browse to the course containing the unwanted grade item,
2. In the course banner (the red bar on top), click on Grades,
   
   
3. On the Grades page, select the Gradebook setup from the top drop down menu,
   
   
4. Locate the unwanted grade item in the list,
5. Click the Action menu for the grade item,
6. Select Delete,
   
    
7. Confirm the deletion when prompted,
8. Review the Gradebook setup to ensure the item is removed.

Removing Grade Item for an eClass Activity

1. Browse to the course containing the unwanted grade item,
2. Locate the activity, 
3. Click the Action menu for the activity,
4. Select Delete, 
   
   
5. Confirm the deletion when prompted,
6. Review the Gradebook to ensure the item is removed.
