Assigning bonus grades in Gradebook

You can assign Bonus Marks to your students using the Offset feature in the Grade item you want to edit (i.e. Quiz) Settings in the Gradebook. Here is How:

1. Go to your Gradebook.
   
   
   
2. Turn editing on
   

   
   

   
   
3. In the activity you wish to assign bonus grades, click on the ellipses and click on Edit grade item
   
   
4. Click Show more under the grade item.
5. Enter the number of Bonus marks you wish to give to your students in the Offset section:
   
6. Click Save changes at the bottom of the page, then you are good to go.

After you successfully complete the above, the number you added in the Offset will be added to all grades for that grade item. For example, if the offset is 2, then all grades will be increased by 2. Negative numbers are acceptable as well.
