In this article, Moodle refers to the app, and eClass refers to the York University eLearning platform.
The Moodle app will work with our eClass site - eClass is the name York University calls its version of Moodle.
Using the official Moodle app, you will be able to connect to:
- View course materials, even when offline.
- Receive instant course notifications.
- View Calendar events, even when offline.
- Pull to refresh data on your screen.
- Find and contact course participants.
- Search for courses.
- Display course in portrait/landscape view.
- View your course grades.

To use the Moodle mobile app:
To access your courses on eClass:
- Enter http://eclass.yorku.ca/eclass as the site name
- Enter your Passport York username
- Enter your Passport York password
Your My courses page appears, listing your registered courses. You can click on the course title to access your course or click the ' Contents', ' Participants' or ' Grades' icons. Not seeing all the courses you expect to see?
