Introduction

There are multiple settings and features implemented into Zoom that provides extra security. These security measures can be enabled on your Zoom Account Dashboard, through Zoom Client Application and/or while in-meeting. It is also important to be aware of actions to take in the event of a Zoom meeting disruption. In this article, we will be providing best practices to ensure that your meeting is secure

Security Settings through your Zoom dashboard

Turn on your waiting room

  1. Click Settings
  2. Checkmark Waiting Room
  3. If you wish to edit or customize your Waiting Room, click Edit Options or Customize Waiting Room

Don’t Use Personal Meeting ID for Public Meetings

  1. In your Meeting Settings, ensure the Meeting ID is set to Generate Automatically, as shown below:
